Hi, I'm Shanice
but most people call me Xai!
I'm a Puerto Rico-born, San Francisco-based wedding photographer, and for the past 7 years I've been capturing love stories across the entire Bay Area — from the redwood ceremonies of Marin to vineyard celebrations in Sonoma, rooftop receptions in San Jose, and golden-hour elopements along the California coast & all over Puerto Rico with my team.
My approach is Documentary with an Editorial flare. I'm mostly a fly on the wall — letting your day unfold naturally while I catch the moments you'll want to relive forever. The flower girl sneaking cake. Your grandmother wiping a tear. The wild dance floor moment when everyone stopped caring how they looked and just felt joy.
When it matters; for portraits, for golden-hour I step in with gentle direction. You get both: the REAL and the beautiful.
